we'll start on a positive note:
(hello beef & Guinness pie. Though you get a point for the shot-sized Guinness (which never disappoints... stay tuned for a post on my adventure to the factory), the taters had way too much white pepper to be enjoyable.
and now to the airport food... overpriced and never deemed delicious (though more edible than today's potatoes)
(chicken margharita panini... somehow the mozarella melted completely during the entire 20 second stint it spent in the press. odd... and not the most pleasant consistency, but it will certainly do if you're starving and stuck in New Jersey)
finally, the ugly: plane food.
I know you tried, Continental, but Italian food on a flight to Ireland? And I hesitate to even call it Italian because it was the loosest interpretation of chicken parmagiana I've ever seen (I thought it was chicken mac n cheese until I finally excavated the marinara sauce from its hiding spot way beneath the penne).
